If There Is A Grace Period, Why Should I Still Pay On The 1st?

There are consequences to paying late each month, even if payments are received within the grace period.

Paying late without immediate consequence to you, doesn’t mean there is no impact to us or to our property owner/landlords, or to your tenant relationship with us.Where tenants show a history of financial unreliability by consistently paying late, we may not offer a renewal agreement, or may have the tenant go month-to-month, or we may not offer as favorable renewal rates as we do to tenants who consistently pay on time.Where tenants show a history of financial unreliability by consistently paying late, we may tighten related lease terms as a condition of renewing or extending, including reducing or eliminate grace periods. We also cannot in good faith provide as good a rental reference for late payers as we do for those who pay on time.
